A Day in the Life of the Peconic Estuary

On Wednesday, October 1st, Intermediate 2 will be assisting Cornell Cooperative Extension and Brookhaven National Lab by collecting data related to the health of the Peconic Estuary. We are one of 16 East End schools participating in this project. We will be collecting our data from Hallock's Bay. Our experts, Mr. Mark Cappellino of Cornell Cooperative Extension at Cedar Beach and Mr. and Mrs. Hopzefel, local retired science teachers will assist in the data collection and oversee the experiments.
